Helix responds to Offshore Alert allegations

Hamilton, Bermuda – October 21, 2016 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”) Helix responds to Offshore Alert allegations. The full filing stated:

 An internet post by Mr David Marchant on 19 October 2016 on website Offshore Alert regarding Privilege Wealth together with a web link to a related video on YouTube (collectively referred to as the “Post”) have been brought to the attention of Helix Investment Management SLP (“Company”). The Post alleges Privilege Wealth of various wrongdoings and in particular alleges that Privilege Wealth has no substance.

The Company is a lender to Privilege Wealth. The Company actively monitors the collateral coverage of its loan, conducts regular site visits and receives daily reports drawn from independent Automated Clearing Houses on the cash movement and performance of the underlying loan book. Accordingly, the Company categorically denies and rejects such allegations as being wholly untrue and defamatory. The Company vigorously monitors and protects its interests and that of its bondholders.
