The FMG India Opportunity Fund Ltd. was incorporated in Bermuda on 1 April 2006, and is currently registered as a public fund in that jurisdiction. The Class A 09 shares were listed in May 2009.

The investment strategy of the Fund is to invest the fund's assets in a high risk / high return portfolio of Indian securities that may be late stage private equity, pre/post IPO small cap traded equities or equity related securities, either through managed accounts, mutual funds or traditional hedge fund.
