One Communications Ltd. – Share Repurchase Programme

Hamilton, Bermuda – 06 January 2020 — In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (the “BSX”), One Communications Ltd., (the "Company"; Ticker: ONE.BH), announced their share repurchse programme.  The filing stated:

One Communications Ltd. Announces Share Buyback Programme for 2020

6 January 2020 – The Board of Directors of One Communications Ltd. (the “Company”) has authorized the repurchase of up to 2 million common shares of the Company through an open market programme.  The prior year’s programme expired on 31 December 2019.  This new authorization will run until 31 December 2020. 

The Company’s CEO, Frank Amaral, said, “While we have no current plan or goal as to timing or the amount of purchases, we intend to utilize the buyback programme opportunistically, with a view to balancing other potential uses for our capital.  The buyback programme provides us with a flexible tool for enhancing shareholder value.”

One Communications Ltd. is a Bermuda-based publicly traded company that provides telecommunications services in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. The common shares of the Company are listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) and trade as ONE.BH.
