The Group (or "Simply") is a specialist asset finance provider with a well distributed customer base across the UK and diversified asset classes. It offers finance products as a secured lender to small and medium-sized enterprises ("SMEs") to fund the purchase of business-critical equipment and to free up working capital. Simply was established in April 2017 by a team of asset finance specialists in response to the need for innovation and disruption in the sector. Simply is majority owned by Cabot Square Capital, a specialist investor in UK lending businesses. Cabot Square Capital LLP is the FCA authorised manager of CS Capital Partners V LP, a fund with c.£300m of committed capital of which c.£60m has been allocated to Simply. The balance of the shares in Simply are owned by the management team, who have invested c.£1m alongside Cabot, to support Simply’s general corporate purposes.
