Buffalo Re Ltd., is a Bermuda exempted company incorporated on 16 February 2017 with registration number 52313 and registered office address at Canon’s Court, 22 Victoria Street, Hamilton HM 12, Bermuda. The Issuer is a licensed special purpose insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
The purpose for issuing each Class within a Series of Notes is to collateralize and fund the obligations of the Issuer under the related Reinsurance Agreement pursuant to which the Issuer will provide the Ceding Insurer with a source of multi-year excess of loss reinsurance capacity.
The USD$59,500,000 Series 2017-1 Class B Principal-at-Risk Variable Rate Notes due April 7, 2020 are exposed to the perils of Named Storm and Earthquake in the “Covered Area.”
